Automotive Stock Controller

About the role

TalentEx Employment Group, an automotive recruitment business, is looking for a full-time Automotive Stock Controller to join a team in Blacktown, NSW. This is an on-site role for someone who likes keeping parts stock accurate, organised and ready when the workshop needs it.

About the role

You will look after the flow and accuracy of automotive stock, so the right parts are on the shelf and the records match what is physically there.

• Co-coordinating the vehicle delivery process between Delivery Consultants and vehicle compounds.
• Stock intake and stock swaps
• Registration of new & preowned vehicles, inc transfers and related processes
• Vehicle ordering and allocations
• Liaising with key stakeholders with respect to delivery dates, customer requirements, demonstrators, loan and stock vehicles as well as preparation requirements.
• Raising Repair Orders in line with the agreed schedule and delivery committed date.
• Providing advance notice to compounds on accessories required for new cars preparation.
• Working in accordance with established business processes, policies, procedures and standards.

The ideal applicant for this position will be a franchised dealership experienced Delivery Coordinator and Stock Controller.

What we offer

• $75,000 – $85,000
• Monday - Friday

What you'll need

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory or parts storeperson work, ideally in the automotive industry
• Good working knowledge of inventory or parts management systems
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• Good communication skills for working with suppliers, parts and service teams
• Able to work on-site full-time and handle stock safely
• Current Australian driver licence
• Full working rights in Australia — no visa sponsorship offered
