About the role
TalentEx Employment Group, an automotive recruitment business, is looking for a full-time Service Receptionist for an on-site role in Melbourne, VIC. You will be the first point of contact for customers and keep the service department running smoothly.
About the role
This is a customer-facing role at the front of a busy service operation. You will work closely with service advisors and the workshop team to make sure every customer is looked after from booking to pick-up.
- Greet customers in person and answer incoming calls and enquiries
- Book, confirm and reschedule service appointments
- Enter customer and vehicle details accurately into the booking system
- Pass messages and booking details to service advisors and the workshop
- Help with paperwork, invoices and customer handovers at pick-up
- Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming

What you'll need
- Previous reception, customer service or administration experience
- Clear, friendly communication skills in person and on the phone
- Good computer skills and confidence learning booking or workshop software
- Well organised, with the ability to juggle phones, bookings and walk-in customers
- Automotive or service department experience is helpful
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Full working rights in Australia — no visa sponsorship offered
