About the role
TalentEx Employment Group is looking for a New Vehicle Sales Manager to lead new vehicle sales in Port Melbourne. This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced automotive sales leader who enjoys coaching a team and delivering results.
About the role
You will be responsible for the performance of the new vehicle sales department, guiding your team to meet targets while keeping the customer experience front of mind.
- Lead, coach and motivate the new vehicle sales team
- Set and track sales targets, and report on department performance
- Oversee customer enquiries, test drives, negotiations and vehicle handovers
- Manage new vehicle stock levels, ordering and presentation
- Work closely with finance, service and used vehicle teams to support customers
- Monitor customer satisfaction and make sure sales processes and compliance requirements are followed

What you'll need
- Proven experience in automotive sales, ideally in a sales management or team leader role
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate a sales team to meet targets
- Strong communication, negotiation and customer service skills
- Sound understanding of new vehicle sales processes, stock management and compliance
- Comfortable using dealership management and CRM systems
- Current Victorian driver licence
- Full working rights in Australia — no visa sponsorship offered
