About the role
TalentEx Employment Group, an automotive recruitment business, is looking for a Group Service Manager to lead service operations in Coffs Harbour, NSW.
About the role
As Group Service Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of the service department and the people in it. You will keep workshop operations running smoothly while looking after customers and the team.
- Lead, coach and roster the service team, including advisors and technicians
- Oversee daily workshop workflow, job allocation and scheduling
- Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency and profitability against targets
- Maintain high standards of customer service and handle escalated queries
- Make sure work is completed to quality, safety and compliance standards
- Manage service budgets, reporting and parts and warranty processes
- Work with sales and other departments to support the wider business

What you'll need
- Proven experience in a service manager or senior workshop leadership role, ideally in a dealership
- Strong people leadership and team coaching skills
- Sound knowledge of workshop operations, scheduling and profitability
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with dealership management systems and reporting
- Current Australian driver licence
- Full working rights in Australia — no visa sponsorship offered
