About the role
TalentEx Employment Group is recruiting on behalf of a client for an Assistant Service Manager to join their automotive service department in Cooma, NSW. This full-time, on-site role could suit a Senior Service Advisor ready for the next step in their career.
About the role
You will work alongside the Service Manager to keep the service department running smoothly, looking after both customers and the team.
- Support the Service Manager with the day-to-day running of the service department
- Guide and support the service advisors, stepping in to help where needed
- Handle customer questions, concerns and escalations with care
- Work with the workshop to keep bookings, job flow and handovers on track
- Check that repair orders, quotes and customer updates are accurate and timely
- Help maintain high standards of customer service across the department

What you'll need
- Experience as a Senior Service Advisor or in a similar automotive service role
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Good understanding of workshop processes and job flow
- Clear communication and the ability to guide and support a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Current driver's licence
- Full working rights in Australia — no visa sponsorship offered
