TalentEx Employment Group is recruiting a full-time Light Vehicle Technician for an on-site role in Parramatta. If you enjoy diagnosing and repairing passenger and light commercial vehicles and take pride in work that is done properly, this is worth a look.

About the role

You will work in a hands-on workshop environment, carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repairs on light vehicles to a high standard.

• Carry out logbook and scheduled servicing on light vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using scan tools and test equipment
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension, steering and driveline components
• Perform engine, cooling and exhaust system repairs
• Complete roadworthy and safety checks and report additional work needed
• Keep accurate job records and maintain a clean, safe work area

Qualifications:

We are seeking an ideal candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and a high level of fault-finding skills.
• A "fix it right the first time" philosophy.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with European automotive brands.

• $75,000 – $85,000

What you'll need

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification
• Previous experience as a light vehicle technician or mechanic
• Sound diagnostic skills across mechanical and basic electrical systems
• Current driver's licence
• Good communication skills and a reliable, team-focused attitude
• Full working rights in Australia — no visa sponsorship offered
